MediTrack is a concept with an aim to simplify multiple medication intake.

People with particular health conditions or multi morbidities where they're required to take different doses of different medications throughout different times of the day can be extremely confusing. Medication tracking devices such as pill pots, dose counters or on-device trackers aim to help the user with this cognitive overload, however the different systems can be overwhelming and lead to miss dose or over dosing particular medication, even without the user being aware until the end of their prescription.

MediTrack aims to radically simply multi medication tracking by providing people with a smart weight tracking device and a companion app. Users are notified to take their dose via an app notification, they pick up the medication required, take their dose, and place it back down onto MediTrack. The load-cell within MediTrack simultaneously measures the weight removed when the mediation is lifted away from MediTrack, to confirm that the correct medication is being dosed, and then measures the medication when placed back onto MediTrack to confirm that the correct dosage has been taken, automatically logging and recording the dose in the companion app medication diary.

The simplicity of interaction between the user and MediTrack was a pivotal aspect to get right, as users don't want to spend their time managing their health, they simply want their health and time back.

The companion app has a purposefully minimal interface, provide the user with only the information they need, when they need it, and when they, or a loved one, or a healthcare professional wants to look at their medication persistence, they just simply look through the medication diary.
